I don't think there are any underlying issues with a potential change of colours when we move to Stratford.
Having a third kit is just the club's way of making a bit more money, and if they want to do that - we have got to wear it - and more than the one occasion we wore the black shirt last season.
Making the third kit our cup kit is a fad that probably won't last more than a season into our move to Stratford. Man Utd set a precedent when they introduced a Champions' League kit 10 or so years ago. It didn't last long.
With regards to the colour, as long as the home and away kits are kept kept traditional, the third/away kit can be whatever colour the kit makers like. Anyway, why should I care, I won't be buying it.

I wonder what's really going on here. I loved our kit last year because I think those are the colours we should wear for ALL home games.
Clearly there will be something special for our last season at the Boleyn, then something special for our first game at the OS.
How's this going to pan out?

It's a nice kit, not very West Ham looks more like Anderlecht but nicer than our thunderbirds away kit.

It actually looked ok, but I'd prefer it not to be worn at home.
Still, it broke the Everton jinx (just about)
I'd be happy for it to be worn for the rest of the cup run, but not for the final, should we manage to make it there.
